BioLite wood stoves

Stumble across this today, not something that I have seen before, they look interesting. I think the weight would be a concern to me.

Take a look at the Biolite website and then view the demo video here.

I would be more inclined to use this for car camping, like I have mentioned the weight would be an issue @ 740 grams (1 lb 10oz).

The demonstration is a little vague on boil times and I would be a little concerned about the robustness of the power unit.

Their company logo is cool though, the dot on the 'i' in Lite looks like a map of Australia :)

Interested to hear from anyone that might have more info.

Surprizingly more room under the tarp than I expected. A combination of this and my MLD Bivy will work great.
